Introspective

With the new year around the corner now is the time many find themselves reflecting on the past year. Many will start setting goals and more will forget them before the end of January.

I view the new year differently. I prefer to look back instead of forward at this time of year. What did I do wrong, and how could I have done it better. It is so easy to be mad at where I am today and blame those around me but it is many times harder to look, truly look, for the things and people that have blessed my life. Even if someone has not been perfect this past year that doesnt mean I could not find something they did that made my life better. I am where I am today because of the people in my life and I will be where I am tomorrow because of the people I kept in my life.

I hope everyone enjoys this new year and can look back and find things they are grateful for.
